God dealt with my heart one night in my bedroom, about 2AM, He saved
me that night when I was 11 years old. We were going to
Parkway Baptist Church and I was Blessed by having a great Pastor in
Ed Parton. Brother Ed let me take part in the services at a
young age and God richly Blessed me with learning about His Holy
Bible and I grew as a CHRISTian very fast. But as I got older
and got married I thought I knew more that God and walked away from
Him. My marriage fell apart without God in it, but still He
Blessed me with two wonderful boys: Anthony, who is 14 years old now
and in his first year of high school, and Nathan who just turned 11
years old and goes to New Center Schools. Finally, about 5
years ago the Lord dealt with my heart one night sitting in my
living room and I promised Him I would try to live for Him. As
I started going back to church the Lord called me to be a Sunday
School teacher and I have been teaching God's Word ever since.
Now, as we come to this point in my life we felt that God was
calling us to continue with our singing, we where with another group
but it did not work out, so instead of quitting when the devil
raised his head, we stepped out on Faith and purchased our equipment
and bought us a trailer for our equipment, along with Vickie
and her daughters Sherry and
Elizabeth and Vickie's brother Roger we
formed the Free Spirits Gospel
Singers, and as we go out to sing at
churches, we go out for one thing, not for the money, not for people
to say you sang good, but to uplift the name of our Lord and Savior
JESUS CHRIST, and tell people about what He has done for us, and to
share His love with a 'lost and dying world'...one soul will be
worth it all! We ask you to remember our group in your prayers
each and every day.
