"THE REASON WHY"
by
Pastor Tony Sutton |

Mark
4:35-41
|
- Mark 4:35 And the same day, when
the even was come, he saith unto them, Let
us pass over unto the other side.
- Mark 4:36 And when they had sent
away the multitude, they took him even as he was in the ship.
And there were also with him other little ships.
- Mark 4:37 And there arose a great
storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was
now full.
- Mark 4:38 And he was in the
hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him,
and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish?
- Mark 4:39 And he arose, and
rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace,
be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great
calm.
- Mark 4:40 And he said unto them, Why
are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith?
- Mark 4:41 And they feared
exceedingly, and said one to another, What manner of man is
this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?
|
|
Mark 5:1-9
|
- Mark 5:1 And they came over unto
the other side of the sea, into the country of the Gadarenes.
- Mark 5:2 And when he was come out
of the ship, immediately there met him out of the tombs a man
with an unclean spirit,
- Mark 5:3 Who had his
dwelling among the tombs; and no man could bind him, no, not
with chains:
- Mark 5:4 Because that he had been
often bound with fetters and chains, and the chains had been
plucked asunder by him, and the fetters broken in pieces:
neither could any man tame him.
- Mark 5:5 And always, night and
day, he was in the mountains, and in the tombs, crying, and
cutting himself with stones.
- Mark 5:6 But when he saw Jesus
afar off, he ran and worshipped him,
- Mark 5:7 And cried with a loud
voice, and said, What have I to do with thee, Jesus, thou
Son of the most high God? I adjure thee by God, that thou
torment me not.
- Mark 5:8 For he said unto him, Come
out of the man, thou unclean
spirit.
- Mark 5:9 And he asked him, What
is thy name? And he
answered, saying, My name is Legion: for we are many.

- A) GO
YE THEREFORE AND TEACH, PREACH, ETC...

VISIT, ETC...
- C) GO YE THEREFORE AND FEED,
CLOTHE, ETC...
GOD
MAY INSTRUCT YOU TO TAKE ON A CHORE THAT MAY OR MAY NOT SEEM
CHALLENGING, HOWEVER NEVER TAKE ANY TASK LIGHTLY.

SATAN ATTACKS |
THE DEVIL WILL ALWAYS TRY TO STOP PROGRESS OF GOD'S PEOPLE. THERE
IS ALWAYS A REASON FOR SATAN'S INTERFERENCE. *NEVER ALLOW SATAN TO
DECEIVE YOU INTO THINKING THERE'S NO USE, *NOBODY CARES, *YOU
CAN'T DO IT, *AND GOD HAS FORSAKEN YOU, *NEVER ALLOW HIM TO
DISCOURAGE YOU ENOUGH TO QUIT! THE HARDER SATAN FIGHTS THE MORE
DETERMINED WE SHOULD BE TO SUCCEED! THERE IS A REASON!!!
|
|
GOAL COMPLETE |
| WHEN
WE'VE HAVE HELD FAST THE INSTRUCTION OF GOD AND REMAINED FAITHFUL
UNTO HIS WORD, WE WILL SEE THE MIGHTY HAND OF GOD PERFORM, AND
ACCOMPLISH THAT, IN WHICH IT SET FORTH TO DO. |
|
GOAL COMPLETE |
| AS
WE LOOK AT THE STORY ABOVE WE SEE HOW THAT JESUS SAID TO THE
DISCIPLES " Let us pass over unto the other side." THEN
WE SEE HOW THAT THE WIND BEGAN TO RISE AND FEAR FILLED THEIR
HEARTS. THEY WERE AFRAID OF LOSING THEIR LIVES IN THE MIST OF THE
SEA. GOD DOES NOT SEND US OUT TO DIE IN THE MIST OF A SEA, WHEN HE
SENT US TO THE OTHER SIDE. GOD ALWAYS PROVIDES OUR NEED, AND NEVER
WILL HE LEAD US INTO BATTLE AND TURN HIS BACK ON US. THE OTHER
SIDE WAS HIS INSTRUCTIONS. NOW WHEN THEY ARRIVED "ON THE
OTHER SIDE" WE SEE THEY WERE MET BY A MAN WITH UNCLEAN
SPIRITS. THIS MAN WHEN INTRODUCED TO JESUS WAS DELIVERED. NOW THIS
WAS NOT JUST AN EVERY DAY DELIVERY, BUT HIS NAME WAS LEGION, FOR
THERE WERE MANY. PRAISE THE NAME OF JESUS DO YOU SEE HOW THAT
GREAT WAS THE BATTLE ON THE SEA, AND GREAT WAS THE REWARD. THEY
NEVER THOUGHT THAT WHEN HE SAID " Let us pass over unto the
other side." SUCH A SIMPLE TASK WOULD LEAD TO SUCH A GREAT
BATTLE AND A GREAT VICTORY. THERE'S ALWAYS A REASON |

that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of
truth. |
