'" BE GROUNDED "

And when the people saw that Moses delayed to come down
out of the mount, the people gathered themselves
together unto Aaron, and said unto him, Up, make us
gods, which shall go before us; for as for this Moses,
the man that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we
wot not what is become of him.
THE
PEOPLE EXPERIENCED A PERIOD IN WHICH IT SEEMED THEY HAD
NO LEADER. TWO THINGS CAN BE SEEN HERE. ONE IS THAT WHEN
MOSES WAS NOT IN SIGHT, THEY FELT FORSAKEN. TWO, AARON
SHOULD HAVE STEPPED UP AND BECAME THE SPIRITUAL LEADER
THEY NEEDED. IT ALMOST SEEMS AS IF AARON WAS FOLLOWING
MOSES INSTEAD OF GOD. ARRON SHOULD HAVE RECOGNIZED SATAN
AND PUT A STOP TO THE NONSENSE IMMEDIATELY, BUT HE
ALLOWED THE OVER WHELMING POWER OF THE PEOPLE TO CLOUD
HIS THINKING. SATAN SENT THREE FRIENDS TO JOB TO TRY AND
SWAY HIS THINKING. DON'T ALLOW PEOPLE OR CIRCUMSTANCE TO
SWAY YOU, ALWAYS STAND ON THE WORD OF GOD, ALWAYS HOLD
TO WHAT YOU KNOW. Hebrews 13:5 Let your conversation be
without covetousness; and be content with such things as
ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor
forsake thee. JUST A FEW DAYS BEFORE THIS THEY
STOOD IN THAT VERY PLACED AND DECLARED TO GOD THAT THEY
WOULD FOLLOW ALL THAT HE SAID. OH HOW QUICKLY WE ARE
BLINDED BY CIRCUMSTANCE.

3:17
That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye,
being rooted and grounded in love,
WE NEED TO BE ROOTED AND
GROUNDED IN JESUS. FAITH IS A GREAT THING, AND IT WILL
MULTIPLY IN US THE MORE WE EXERCISE IT. FAITH IS NOT
HAVING A PLAN "B". IT IS NOT HAVING AN
"ACE IN THE HOLE". FAITH IS TRUSTING IN GOD,
EVEN WHEN YOU ARE THE ONLY ONE OUT THERE. HIS WORD TELLS
US, THAT HE WILL NEVER LEAVE US, NOR WILL HE FORSAKE US.
WHAT MORE DO WE NEED? HAS THE ALMIGHTY GOD EVER LIED TO
YOU? WELL, TELL ME WHY WOULD HE START NOW? GOD NEEDS
PEOPLE NOT EASILY BUFFALOED BY SATAN. ALL HE WANTS US TO
DO IS JUST TRUST HIM. WHAT HAPPENS IS, PEOPLE ARE CLOSE
TO GOD AND EVERYTHING IS GOING WELL. THEN IT HAPPENS,
ALL THE BLESSINGS SEEM TO TURN TO PROBLEMS. THINGS START
GOING WRONG. NOW YOU FIND YOUR SELF IN THE VALLEY. YOU
PRAY AND PRAY AND IT SEEMS LIKE NO ONE HEARS YOU. YOU
READ THE WORD OF GOD AND IT SEEMS LIKE YOU GET NOTHING
FROM IT. GOD HAS FORSAKEN ME, IS THE FIRST THING THAT
COMES TO MIND, WHAT HAVE I DONE WRONG? WHY IS GOD
PUNISHING ME? GOD WILL NOT HEAR ME. HAVE YOU EVER BEEN
THERE? I HAVE. I HAVE GOOD NEWS!!! GOD IS STILL THERE.
HE IS STILL LISTENING. CONTINUE TO READ THE WORD,
CONTINUE TO PRAY AND CONTINUE TO BELIEVE IN HIM. HE IS
NOT GONE, JUST BECAUSE IT SEEMS LIKE HE IS NOT THERE
DOES NOT MEAN IT IS SO!!! I KNOW HE WILL GO WITH ME EVEN
TO THE ENDS OF THE EARTH. HOLD ON, DON'T LET THE DEVIL
FOOL YOU, DON'T GIVE UP, HE IS NEVER FAILING, AND ALWAYS
ABLE!!! |
